What Now?
From a distance we've seen hope
In proximity we've felt warmth
In our hearts we want harmony
Our soul cries out in melody
We can erase our past
We can draw our future
I'll use a stencil to mark my words
Nothing will be left out
We can soar and fly
We will reach for the stars
We want to gain strong viscosity
We might replicate our heart beats
There's no love lost
Despite the fact that feelings change
Believe in what we have
To remain balanced and stable
A script written to emphasize emotions
A story read to justify our sentimental value
A logical explanation for our behaviour
A reason for a mix-up of attitudes
We create and destroy
We rebuild and breathe in reality
We grasp the concept of life
We spritiually relocate to a happier division
We fear not being the best we can be
We haven't given our all into everything just yet
There are many years to grow and mature
We have set our own expectations to live up
With little to no time
Sacrificing, compromising, and negotiating
Whatever time spared is taken in
Prioritizing will be one of our last efforts
So attached and dazed
Love cannot be tamed
To be held captive by romance
Intimacy will remain solely between the lines
Explicit imaging in one's mind
A broad spectrum referencing exposed imagery
With luck running low, one's reputation lives or dies in the blink of an eye
Our lives flashed before our eyes
Global attention for this wild stream
Local satisfaction from this shattered dream
People kill for drama and hatred
Animosity strikes, quarrels are beginning
Confusion and delirium
Plans subject to change
Not a single notice for this miserable insight
Beliefs commencing to be shunned and disregarded
