If Theft Wasn't A Crime

If theft wasn't a crime
I'd steal every part of him
I'd sing him to sleep every night
With melodic overkill and harmonization

If he were a drug
I'd inject him without second thought
And I'd inhale him
Like he was my last breath of fresh air

I'd breathe him in like a chain smoker
And if you smoke your scabs
You'll reach that grandiose state
Because you have enough meth in you to get yourself high

If he were an alcoholic beverage
I'd be a survivor of alcoholism
Explaining my journey to AA
And being the founder of the recovered drunken civilization
