Morning Air

Tranquilly awoken by the chirping of robins

The sun narrowly gleaming over the hazy horizon

Fresh dew providing my senses with clarity as this new dawn arrises

Appreciating the rush of crisp air as it permeates throughout the room

Whilst also savoring the warmth of the quilts and the comfort of my lover

As yesterdays troubles fade in the sunlight

I have awoken to begin anew

As no day presents the same events

I can appreciate the reassurance of variance after every sleep

Feelings. They can create miracles. Beautiful words to wake up with. Hot coffee mug to add the perfect touch.

Beautifully expressed.
