A depressed Wife!!
This one is dedicated to a friend who Succumbed to Depression last year, because when she cried out for help, no one in her family could hear.
She wanted to speak about her day to him,
But talks about her issues he would always trim.
He thought he had bigger battles to be fought,
and there are no big troubles than his, he thought.
Every time she tries to speak about something,
A different story is started altogether by the King.
Days passed and then the months turned into years.
The differences between the two went up a few gears.
She no more finds a confidant in the man of her life.
Every other discussion of the two would end up in strife.
She wanted someone to be an ear to her,
For this, the face of her husband became a blur.
Still, she continued to be there for him in need,
But every day like this her heart would bleed.
Little did he knew what was going on,
But due to his ego, the love was long gone.
