The stink of smoke fills the air.
Sirens are blazing everywhere.
Russian Missiles overhead fly.
Scared children ask Mother why.

Innocent lives now under threat.
Have lessons not been learnt yet?
This invasion is against the law.
So think again Putin and withdraw.

It's 2022, so how can this be?
The same old World it seems to me.
In our history, another dark day.
For the Ukraine people I now pray.
