If I'm not your first choice, don't waste my time. Don't treat me like I'm second-best Don't chase me if I'm not the one you truly wanna be with. Don't play games just so you can get over someone who never loved you, or someone who abandoned you. 

If I'm not your first choice, don't ask me personal questions. Don't let me open up to you about my past, my childhood, or my fears. Don't let me reveal my heart to you if you're not ready to love me. Don't ask for a place in my heart if you're not planning on staying there. 

If I'm not your first choice, don't gaze into my eyes and whisper softly in my ears. Don't tell me your secrets and talk to me for hours because you know that I will do my best to comfort you and I will stay up all night with you until you fall asleep. Don't awaken my love if you're not ready to love me. Don't hold me if you'll easily let me go. Don't claim me if you can't be the one I need. 

If I'm not your first choice, don't stop me from finding the one who would put me first. Don't act like you're jealous or you're committed, when you know I'm in your life to fill a void. Don't lie to me and tell me that I'm the only one, when you're still juggling. Don't treat me llike a fool because you're only fooling yourself. 

If I'm not your first choice, please leave. Leave and don't disturb my peace. Leave instead of half-loving me. Leave instead of lying to me. Leave because I don't need you. Leave because I will evenatully leave you. I will leave when I try to share my world with you but you wanna share it with someone else. I will leave when I realize that your presence is not that much different from your absence. I will leave because I learned to choose myself, when people don't choose me. 

If I'm not your first choice, don't expect to be mine. Because, I'm the kind of girl who wants to love till my very last breath. I'm the kind of girl who believes in fairytales and forever and growing old with the one I love, laughing at the same jokes, on our front porch. I'm the kind of girl who will sing you love songs, and write you love letters, and get your favorite candy every time I see you. I'm the kind of girl who will give you the world and the galaxies and the universe but I need you to meet me there. 

You can't meet me half-way. You can't ask me to suppress my love. You can't ask me to be number two. I'm the kind of girl who wants it all or nothing and I won't settle until I find someone who is ready and not afraid to choose me, every single day.
