Spinning around

Everything feels spinning around
The table The clock The bed all seems to revolve round.

Last thing I remmber was drowning two pints of beer
With me and my pal it was all about cheers
Suddenly now am laying in my bed
And the sun at top of my head

With a heavy heave I pulled myself
Holding on for my life as if it was in hell
Somehow i managed to glup down a pill
Before my head again starts to swim

Suddenly I glanced at the clock
Noticing the time I really hit the dock

Oh my God am late  again
This time its going to be a big complain
My boss will surely have his way
With me being  late every other day

With rushing heart and unsteady feets
I washed fed and dressed to leave at  a record feat

Rushed and Hailed a cab that came in sight
With a prayer that it's all green light

Somehow I reached in 10 min time
Praying that my boss is not around this time

Made plans to say this and that
Hoped that  all will be fine just with a chat

With fast steps I reachesd the door
Only to see that it's closed

Raking my brain i checked the date
Only to realise I was never late

It's the weekend break
and here I am  standing making such a mistake
I saw the time but forgot to check the date
And all this made me laugh at my fate

With a huff and some gruff ,
I caught a cab for home
With a nobel promise,
To never be so stoned

Reaching home was a tough task to take
The roads were filled, everyone going on some partake

It took an hour to reach my place
By then I was too drained to move anywhere in haste

I crept on the bed and went of to snooze
Only to wake with the thought of some booze

Though I said I won't drink every but there is exception to every cause dear

So I called my pals , all set to meet at our old place
The mood was made ,to set the night ablaze

I was sure I be safe
As I don't drink more than my share
With a smile I went of in a jiff
With plans to be home when I am not feeling stiff
