Hello my fellow writers. I am really thankful to everyone of you who has till this day , showered me with praise and appreciation for my work. Today I am posting not a poetry or a piece of literature that I wrote recently, but a story. A story that is absolutely true and very painful. By God's grace, I am not a part of this and wasn't there to witness any of the events of this. But it's a harsh truth that I am witnessing the story being repeated again. Only this time the characters have changed, the story still remains unchanged.

This, my friends, is a story of Kashmir, what has been described as 'heaven on earth' by people. Heaven- the land of God. But if so, why isn't a group of people secure in a place where God is believed to be? This is a story of the suffering of Kashmiri Hindus and Pandits. We have all studied about the mass killing of Jews during 2nd world war. But how many of us know about the pain, the suffering of the Kashmiri Hindus? Hardly any, because we were never made aware. How they were exiled from their own land, how they were killed, their daughters and wives raped.

In India , we consider these events that took place in January , 1990 foregone ones and something that is not to be paid attention to fo things have changed in these years . But what about all that is happening now ? Are the Kashmiri Hindus who returned to their homeland with the hope of seeing a change safe??

This is not about religion, a particular community or culture, It's about the basic human rights a man has, to stay in a place, to call it home and to move about fearlessly. I beg all of you to read the reports I have inserted the link of. It can save thousands of such people from being killed for no reason.
