Hard To Swallow

The Golden Lion pub boozers staggered home without a care in the world.

Traditional pint poured

Regular Happy Hour

Booze succulent taste

Buxom Barmaid serving

Barrel of laughs

Extra time drinking

Drunken sing-song

Behind locked doors

The Yellow Cat

Now distant memory.

One of the locals Old John who used to wear a slightly worn cowboy hat, would say had to change my pint too warm but still had drank most of it.

How I miss the many Landlords as well as the drinkers who always had a good tale to tell Stephen.

Excellent as usual, Nigel. Every line a winner. The 'distant memory' rings horribly true.
