a husk, a shell that's fallen off
the back that bore it's long day
a struggle supreme to be released
redeemed from odious yesterdays
i gaze at this in stupefied wonder
and peer into the dusky swirls
of the distant pealing thunder
that offers a promise of new days
The dawn of realisation. This is a good poem
