The remembrance
Yesterday I bade farewell to my spirit,
And came to be with you,
To be present in your presence,
To preserve your fragile soul,
To heal your sorrowful spirit.
I was with you.
How fast time slows down sometimes?
And reverse back to where it ended,
You slaughtered a goat,
And spoke to my spirit,
And burnt the sage incense,
Asking for enlightenment of your dark paths,
I was there staring you in the eyes.
Didn’t you see me?
It was yesterday when you stared blankly at my pictures,
Hanging on the wall and now in the dump ashes,
Crying melancholy till voice and tears vanished through thin air,
Hoping you can reverse the clock and avoid my dissent absence.
I was there with you.
Did you feel my presence?
Your desperate cries and wails,
On the petals of flowers draping my coffin,
Over the thudding of my body to the cold darkness,
And sounds of shovels and sand,
To help me disappear from your eyes
Forever,
The last prayer to bless my detachment.
That was yesterday, today I’m here,
Forget yesterday!
Yesterday is today,
And today is tomorrow.
In all times,
I will be here with you,
My breeze will caress your soft skin,
Until you can see me.
