Loved and respected by us all,

On the 8th of september 2022 a shock on our nation did fall.

Sadly Her seventy year reign has come to an end,

Emotional tributes to Her Majesty we all send.

 

She served our nation all Her life,

A dedicated mother a loving wife.

Millions wished Her Majesty well when she passed away,

I'm in shock,I don't really know what to say !!

 

R.I.P. your Majesty,there will never be another you,

The skies opened and cried in commemoration too.

Rainbows appeared in the cloudy sky,

Adding a much needed colour to your passing by.

 

You are the only monarch we have ever known,

Our love for you has constantly grown.

You pledged your life to the service of our nation,

In thanks we send our sincere gratification.

 

The mother of our country,in that we live,

Never failing,Her precious time to us all did give.

A high watermark of the monarchy ,until the very end,

 And two days before ,a new P.M. to number 10 did send.

 

Her dazzling smile,combined with being formal,

In Her 70 year reign was quite normal.

To the longest serving monarch that has ever been,

God bless Her Majesty our much loved  Queen.

 

Her loss will be an inmmense pain,

But God bless the new king in His new reign
