this distance between us,
seemed 
like the separation between two particles,
at opposite ends of the universe.

the laws will tell you that one's energy
can never move the other,
unable to send a message 
and talk to each other,
as the space between them 
increases with every moment they exist.

unless, say the laws,
they are extraordinary particles 
entangled through an
inexplicable and unlikely event,

holding within them
the power to communicate,
to vanquish limits set by God
and 
holding within them
the secrets of the universe.
