but it's a shapeshifter we have amongst us.
Inhuman as a virus, invisible 
and fatal as a chemical weapon.
Not faceless, headless: there's no 
executive power in a senseless force.

Every day we leave the bunker
wonder what the hell is this world
and find out which side were on.
Bound to matters close to hand
whose condemnation is loud enough
as loved ones become infected?
Blind to our own indolence
what price speed 
in catching the danger signs?
How strong our faith in change?
When this nightmare has shadowed us
