I walked through that area 20 odd years ago -"mad cow disease" in the UK, flooding eveywhere in northern Europe -had to cut short my walk and got a train to the sunny Auvergne.

My jaunt was in '95 and there was the tension about terrorism and it was a crazy time on the Continent. We drove and walked and was fortunate enough to have a cup of coffee at a sidewalk café. Thanks Uilleam, good to share in those memories.
