We’ve been there.

Conwy Castle, Stonehenge and the Jurassic coast

Aberdeen, Newquay and Scarborough fair

Dover, Holyhead and the City of Lincoln

We’ve been there

Not sleeping after we’ve quarrelled

Shouting at each other without a care

Walking away when we should have been closer

We’ve been there

Pompeii, Herculaneum and Rome

Caves of Drach, Pollenca and Port de Soller

Crete, Rhodes and the island of Symi

We’ve been there

Being hurtful without a reason

Hurling abuse that’s unkind and unfair

Spending hours in mutual silence

We’ve been there

Sorrento, Capri, and Positano

Edinburgh, Cardiff and Trafalgar Square

Fethiye, Olu Deniz and Kayakoy

We’ve been there

Being close to calling it a day

Realising that’s our scariest scare,

Making up with hugs and kisses

We’ve been there.

Port Isaac, Aberporth, and Liverpool

Lavenham, Tenby and Windermere

York, Mount Snowden and Dunnattor castle

We’ve been there
