Thoughts of a lady giving birth

"Having a baby changed my life,

Dividing my time being a mum and a wife.

Most of my energy was devoted to my new arrival,

The fruit of my womb, I must ensure his survival.

The kicks and the wiggles inside my belly,

I gave birth on the sofa watching the telly.

Face, fingers legs and toes soon arrive,

The miracle of our future came alive !!

Raising an arrival can make you more loving and kind,

But can lead to stress, exhaustion and a depressed mind.

The sleepless nights and endless feeds,

Watching him grow and satisfying his needs.

Having a baby I embarked on a wild ride,

But seeing the result filled my heart with pride."
