The N.HS..  is a miraculous gift bestowed upon us by Aneurin Bevan,

We are all born in it,die in it, on our path to heaven.

The daily miracles performed by our health workers must be kept alive,

Something so fundamental in our history,must survive.

 

Clapping on our doorsteps and celebrating births is all very well,

But the N.H.S. we must protect, it's loss would be shere hell.

Nobody is discriminated against or left behind,

By a compassionate service,filled with skill,care and being kind.

 

The N.H.S. is the best thing our country has ever got,

But the increasing population size is emptying the money pot.

However little money into your bank account does land,

One deserves the hope and healing touch of a human hand.

 

The N.H.S. is floundering,it is in a mess,

The collapse is slow,an agonising distress.

The N.H.S.has delivered huge medical advances in the past,

Happy 75th birthday,long may you last.
