I think I might shed a tear or two.
As I write these few words for you.
To say 'goodbye' it's my little way.
And 'thank you' I also want to say.

You told me all about 'your open door'
So, kindness and trust, in you I saw.
Things like that, mean so much to me.
Those qualities are so special to see.

A lovely, loyal friend you soon became.
I hope our friendship, will always remain.
So many happy stories to tell and share.
I hope for each other, we'll always be there.

As now, you've decided, time to move on.
Time flies quickly, where has it all gone?
It was 'time' you gave me, all 15 years.
So, with my 'goodbye' now come my tears.
