The bride.

entry picture

Beneath the veil, a vision as yet unclear.

Eyes widen, whispers hushed as she appears,

Head held high, assured and confident,

Opulent, her dress stitched with extravagance,

Look closely at how the bodice compliments her frame,

Desirous women wish they could dress the same

Behold, raised veil, her beauty revealed.

Exquisite radiance nevermore concealed.

Alabaster skin like the finest ivory,

Unveiled, she shames this church’s finery

True beauty, my knees weaken as I stand before you,

You made me weep when you replied ‘’I do’’.
