Molten Rivers
lava oozes down the peak
the sweat and heat, my body quivers
glowing golden, burning streams
blazing, globbing, gobbling flames
hungry molten rivers
devouring all in their wake
touched by iron, turn to fire,
oobleck that incinerates
burn to ash, all they pass
hungry molten rivers
warming, cooling, terraforming
hot rock forms the coast
obsidian solidifying
shrimp boil on the shoals
shades of burgundy, hints of tangerine,
semi-fluid flourishing
depleting fox’s timber
soup that eats you
hungry molten rivers
