The Want for Nothing
The want for nothing

I want for nothing of this world
The grandeur and riches are unappealing.
The delicacy and deliciousness are unappetising.
Wealth turns to ashes in your mouth as you fathom,
The complete idiocy of the system that has become unfathomable.
I want for nothing of THIS world
Nature has turned against us
As we try so hard to control and confine it.
Only to make it exponentially worse
The future generations we will never see
The joy and happiness to experience
Taken by those that want for nothing than greed
I want nothing of THIS world
The want for nothing, strange.
It is a fallacy, want grows deep and strangles.
What is greed if it is not want?
Craving the depravity of it all
Craving the unfairness of it all
Only to crave the release
From
It
All
I want nothing of THIS world
A world with him
A world with us
Together
Is all I want from this world.
This is the first poem I have written since 2017, and i though this would be the perfect place to share it

Thanks Luke. Wise words indeed.
My take on the situation would be that "we have turned on nature".
