releasing a prayer

as she passed a young troubled fellow on the road.

What a beautiful prayer, I thought to myself when the kind lady related it on a youtube program.

I have now adopted it as my own.

"May you meet people who understand you."

A prayer is a gift,

easily given and readily received.

A prayer is a mantra,

we repeat, we supplicate, we release the words, the thoughts, the feelings, the hopes,

ceaseless hopes,

amen.
