precariously partner up

in a delicate dishonest dance,

exhaling calumnies and encomia

in a fashion underhand, 

gloating in advance

(before their agendas clash),

at having fooled the mass

as peddlers of the mirage;

yet all too soon

their myths must fester,

their synthetic sine qua nons

beheld suddenly askance...
