Keeping a tab on her
At last he withdrew,
Knowing she'd never return,
The end of their relationship,
By his own hand it was burned.
She gave him time,
Hoping he'd sever the ties,
His vindication complete,
Leaving behind hate and forgotten lies.
Faded memories covered in dust,
Like echoes of a long-lost song,
He departed with a final warning,
To scare and alert her, he longed.
"I'm keeping tabs on you,
Recording your every move,
Who you meet, what you do,
One word against you, your life will be removed."
She knew these were the last notes,
Playing on a broken connection,
Wrong wires suddenly touched,
Setting off alarms of fiery tension.
He didn't want to see her happy,
Not with him nor any other man,
His motive was to destroy her,
Proving himself to his wicked plan.
In the eyes of his twisted accomplice,
He aimed to silence all women's voice,
Demanding respect, they must obey,
Never dare to challenge or rejoice.
No matter how ugly his display,
He believed women should applaud and bend,
But she refused to be a puppet,
Her spirit unbreakable, she'd not surrender in the end.
