I love to dance

I love to Dance..

Out again,dancing till late.

Doing my thing on the

Dance floor.

Northern soul.

A new venue every week.

As well as the familiar.

I shuffle  and slide..

I jump and glide.

The joy in my face,

The thrill of the dance.

Lost in the rhythm.

The songs stir my soul,

As the beat stirs my body .

At the end of the night,

With sweat running down

My face I feel

Reborn.Renewed.

To fight the good fight

Of Life and Death.

Dancing is my Zen

My meditation.

My Mindfulness.

My Joy and I am

Grateful that I  can

Still dance after all

These years.

This reminded of my sister who loves to dance. And she always tells me that dance gives her immense happiness, and at the same time relief from mental stress. A very good poem!
Thank you.

Oh, how I remember the magic of dance. The rhythmic movement
of the body to therapeutic climaxes of sound and soul.
Your poem has a rhythm that makes me feel the music and want to move. What a joyous poem.
