Red Laces

Red laces

You tie red laces for me

So sweet and innocently

Another bond to savour and share

With love and tender care

They grow with every knot

While, in my fingers, they get support

Swaying in the air

From heart to heart, we cradle and share

The film rumbles on

Shared faces reveal the con

While knowing laughter knows best

As red laces know the rest

Valentines is coming up

A chance to share the love

A time to share embraces

And with you, I will share my red laces
