Mindless Sheep.

Looking across the turbulent river to the hilly greeny- brown bank.

Sheep grazing, unhindered by thoughts of existence.Just being..

Knowledge of Past and Future transitory.Only the present.

Death inevitable.The future a pleasant meal for hungry carnivores .

Their purpose in life achieved.Their sacrifices unacknowledged.

 

The duality of existence,.Life and death both Friends and Enemies.

In-between is passing the time.Chasing rainbows till the inevitable.

Striving for the meaning of the word , Happiness,needing to feel

The possibility .Only a few steps more as the sand trickles through,

Regrets,No regrets Time will tell the stories  soon forgotten,

 

An awareness of the need for Connection , deeply embedded .

An evolutionary survival mechanism.Unaware of Natures Hand.

Brought about through Luck rather than contrivance and skill.

An idyllic life ,a loving connection.Maslows hierarchy of human 

Needs still keeps it's simple truth  relavant, inspirational,in tact.

 

Striving, evolving into impermanence,novelty   constant change.

A need for self and environmental destruction .A distorted

Reflection of Natures mirror of Life,Death and Renewal .

Natures satisfaction becomes humanitys dissatisfaction.
