You

You’ve been

Yelled at before,

Trivialized by

Someone whom

You really adored.

That crumbling

Part of your life

Had months ago

Moved ahead,

Leaving a lively

Part of you

Completely dead.

You are with me,

But not entirely;

You hold back,

I can only truly

Assure you that

You will never be

On the same

Bland track.

When the sun sets,

I will be near you,

And when the

Night descends,

I will read

To you.

When the susurration

Of the serene sea

Is overlapped by

The calming breath

Of your heart,

I will know that

I’ve successfully

Played my part.

Like the

Bioluminescence

Spoons a selected

Part of the shore,

I want to kiss you

In the places

Where you haven’t

Been kissed before.

So beautifully written! I absolutely love the part where you wrote about the overlapping of the whispering sounds of sea by the calm breath of the heart, knowing that you played your role well. 😍

Thank you for your kind comment Tim, I'm ever grateful for your continued support towards my work.
I just wanted to bring out the fact and feeling through this that, sometimes, you want to be treated by someone the way you've always wanted to treat them, or have treated them.
Thanks to all those who liked this. Cheers!😊

There is a soft and careful seductiveness mixed in with the compassion for the fragileness that accompanies life. Nicely done.
Thanks Manish.
