Divine timing
In life, there's divine timing for all things,
Miss it, and the opportunity slips away,
Lost to us forever in the ebb of time,
No turning back to fix what's gone astray.
Blessings are sent in their appointed hour,
Whether embraced or left to fade,
Too often we overlook the simple gifts,
In pursuit of glitter, in choices we've made.
Divine opportunities, fleeting and rare,
Once passed, never to return,
Yet some packages appear so plain,
We hesitate to uncover what we yearn.
Jesus (p.b.u.h)in humble guise, walked amongst us,
Prophet Muhammad,(sallallahu alaihi wasallam) not embraced by all,
We shun the ordinary, seeking the extraordinary,
Unaware of the treasures within, big or small.
Divine timing whispers softly to our souls,
Yet we're distracted by worldly allure,
Discarding the unassuming, the plain,
Believing we're deserving of something more.
And when we see the beauty in others' hands,
Regret sets in, the chance now lost,
Forgetting how we tossed away with disregard,
That simple gift, now shining at a cost.
Explanation of the above poem:
In life, there is indeed a divine timing for everything, and it's important to recognize and embrace those moments when they arise. However, it's also crucial to understand that the packaging may not always reflect the value or significance of what's inside. Just as a modestly wrapped present can hold a treasure, a seemingly ordinary opportunity might contain a blessing that could transform our lives.
Jesus peace be upon him came in an ordinary package, as did the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and many other great leaders and teachers. Their humility and willingness to accept their circumstances allowed them to see the true value of their gifts and use them to touch the lives of countless people. On the other hand, those who are too focused on worldly pleasures and outward appearances often miss the opportunity to recognize the divinity within the ordinary.
The key, then, is to cultivate an attitude of gratitude and openness. We should strive to recognize the divine presence in all aspects of our lives, and be willing to receive blessings, whether they come wrapped in gold or in simple brown paper. By doing so, we not only honor the gifts that are given to us, but also open ourselves up to the possibility of experiencing greater joy, fulfillment, and purpose.
Furthermore, it's important to remember that the divine timing is not arbitrary; there is a purpose behind every opportunity, even if it doesn't seem so at first glance. If we miss a chance because we are too focused on our own desires or preconceived notions, we may never know what we've truly missed out on. Instead, we should remain open, flexible, and attuned to the subtle nudges of the divine, trusting that the universe will guide us towards our highest good.
In conclusion, while divine timing is indeed important, it's also essential to recognize that the ordinary package might hold something extraordinary. By embracing gratitude, openness, and trust, we can unlock the door to a life filled with divine blessings, regardless of their outward appearance or perceived worth.
