She had no home
When I met her as a happy wanderer
Navigating from places to places
I did told her I had nothing to offer
But the simple comfort of my chest
To this she looked at me smiling
“Hey you adventurer”, she told me
“You’re the one I have been waiting,
Home I don’t need, free I want to be”
“The road is a paved way to paradise,
Like the snail my house is this bag,
I can’t remember missing a sunrise
While the world is running zigzag”
As I fell to the utmost surprised,
Worried this was another chimera,
She was the stray beauty I fantasized
The kind you only meet in Nirvana
To this day she proved me wrong
Both following the itinerant caress
Sharing the love of being vagabond
A cardboard been our only mattress
At this stage the poem takes a turn
As homeless I am but in her arms
And the only place I want to return
Is the warmth of her comfy charms
