Captured moments, pure and right.
This spring I have been of a mind to write a poem that explores the delights of wedding days. This first offering was as a result of talking with a wedding photographer that was hired to shoot my nephews big day in May.
In a garden bathed in golden light, Where petals drift and dreams take flight, Two hearts unite beneath the sky, As cameras click and shutters sigh.
A glance, a touch, a whispered vow, Each moment captured, here and now, Through lenses keen, the love unfolds, In timeless frames, the story’s told.
Laughter echoes, pure and bright, In black and white or colors’ might, The joy, the tears, the fleeting glance, Preserved within a single dance.
A stolen kiss, a fleeting smile, Held forever, yet just a while, In albums thick and prints so fine, The magic of the day enshrined.
For years to come, the pages turn, As love’s sweet memories brightly burn, Through wedding photos, life’s delight, Captured moments, pure and right.
