TO THE DANCE
Summer took us by surprise.
The sun came out and blued the skies
and all the earth turned green.
Women blossomed, bright flowers
as the days grew into their hours.
Nature turned to the dance.
The beer foamed, tasting colder
as children played, ever bolder,
glad, for school was over.
And all around me, i felt
the Winter's melancholy melt.
And love was in the air.
