When He Was Dancing To His Tunes

My father suffered a stroke

And he still is the young bloke

he ever used to be

only his body refuses to see.

Our bond is good, albeit hard

at times we argue and discuss.

And sometimes sing, the bard

with the Jesus Christian fuss.

He taught me 'bout Omar Khayyam

and these quatrains remain strong

in refrains of our secret song;

where we will stay forever young :)

When he was dancing to his tunes

before Mum, my brothers and I.

It was enough to see him through

'With Love From Me To You'
