I treated her like a special queen…

An experience she has never felt or seen…

Filled each week with poetry, flowers and gifts…

Just to make her days brighter, so her mood lifts…

Feelings she had for me could clearly be seen…

But she is either arrogant or fearful, which is mean…

We are both human beings at the end of the day…

So why not take a brave step without any delay…

It is not fair on me, as my words to her were pure…

She couldn’t get her eyes off me, that was for sure…

But now it is time for me to pull my energy back…

So that she can realise that her life without me is slack!
