A desperate need to fulfill no matter how cruel

 

A bright spark in their eyes

A light that never dies

A wonderful dream that never lies

A reason to get up and rise

 

A star in their hearts to answer their wishes

A burning desire inside their chests

A cheery personality that entertains guests

An achievement to not make them feel less

Unfortunately my fire turned black

It's still burning but the light is its lack

It's giving me third degree burn back to back

Without a goal or a passion, just a feeling like I'm a hack
