Life Is A Circus

entry picture

The big top is lit up like a Christmas tree
The ringmaster struts around a king
I juggle with life trying not to fail
On comes a magican delight he will bring
Like an acrobat my head spins around
The audience screams but I don't hear a sound

Life is a circus and I am a clown
A smile I wear but inside I frown
I walk a tightrope and defy gravity
Sad and living a life of tragedy
Life is a circus and I am a clown
A smile I wear but inside I frown
Life is circus and I am a clown

Fire me into space like a human cannon
Throw your knives at me and pierce my heart
Let me walk on hot coals and lie on a bed of nails
I ride the wall of death doomed from the start
Fire I will eat until I slowly melt inside
I cant escape from my chains nowhere to hide

The elephants are running out of control
Like a caged lion I roar into the night
I reside in a coffin being sawed in half
The vanishing man I have lost my soul
The crowd clap like no tomorrow
I take a bow they don't see my sorrow

Life is a circus and I am a clown
A smile I wear but inside I frown
I'm on a flying trapeze don't let me go
I grin like a chimpanzee don't you know
Life is a circus and I am a clown
A smile I wear but inside I frown
Life is circus and I am a clown
