Hey John - What's Going Down

entry picture

What a beautiful world we have
Raging with destruction and war
From Africa and Europe
And in the holy land once more
The media covers it all with aplomb
Entertainment for the masses galore

Hey John - What's going down
I'm glad you're not around to witness
Jesus Allah and Buddha are not amused
As they look sadly down upon us
And observe the path we choose
Hey John - What's going down

Rhetoric and condemnation fall on deaf ears
Absolute slaughter is what we see
War is big business and a gravy train
Our government supplies the weapons no mystery
We are indelibly stained with blood on our hands
As we mark our place in history

Hey John - What's going down
Give peace a chance you once said
Jesus Allah and Buddha what must they think
Nobody is listening anymore
As we teeter on the very brink
Hey John - What's going down

I wish I could stop the earth spinning
And we would all float off into space
Our world would implode into a black hole
We are a disgrace as a human race
I think the time is nigh for us to go
To disappear forever without a trace

Hey John - What's going down
We hold the world in our hands
Jesus Allah and Buddha are in dismay
On our epitaph will be written
With abandon we threw it all away
Hey John - What's going down

Thanks Tom.
"Our government supplies the weapons no mystery".

Yes, but,you don't understand, the UK's contribution to the genocide is extremely small-we only supply the little black buttons for others people to press...nowt to do with us guv.
So the babies, and the close on100,000 (probably) that are killed, are only a LITTLE bit dead.
What we need right now is WW111. THAT should take our minds off the genocide. oops, here we go!
