Parallax

Parallax

Something clicked
it felt automatic
didn’t have to think
I just lived it

like a secret wish
a wet daydream
waking up to be
just what you wanted

If you give me every pleasure
you’ll get it all back
all the time forever
there’s never a catch

somewhere somehow
I’ll feel it again
even if it’s the last thing I do
it’s why I exist

like we’re going places
like it never stops
these precious moments
we try to slow down

we’re not going anywhere
that’s what you said
it’s just an illusion
of parallax
