When I fell in love with you

Italian cuisine is the absolute best

Sophisticated, with flavour

and loaded with zest

Pasta, pizza, calzones or risotto 

Italy e' fantastica is my brand new motto

            Since That Day

I tentatively walked in your restaurant

Feeling shy and add odds with the menu

But with the welcome you gave me

And the primo you made me, I knew...

I'd chosen a wonderful venue

 

A sanctuary with exquisite food

The ambiance, atmosphere and mood

Were the attractions that drew folk

When hot, sad or rain soaked

But for me Cassandra, it was you

 

A chef with such talent and beauty

Standing out with your head held high

Your personal touch we all like so much

Oh I love you that much I could cry

 

Tears of happiness, elation and joy

Something special not just girl meets boy

A beautiful cook with such fabulous looks

I just can't believe you're in my employ...

(I'm so glad I bought the restaurant)
