Self-Respect
Two souls converge, in contemplation deep,
Weighing self-respect's majestic scope and keep.
Malala's flame, Rosa Parks' steadfast ray,
Illuminate the path, where pride holds sway.
Richard Branson's confidence soars high,
Yet excess pride's dark shadow passes by.
Self-respect's clarion voice asserts our might,
But balance is the key to radiant light.
Teachers' respect, like gardens, blooms and grows,
Leaders' empathy, like rivers, gently flows.
Heed balance, lest darkness claims its space,
And true greatness fades, without a gentle face.
Balance self-respect with compassion's gentle hand,
And find true majesty, in this noble stand.
With every step, through trials and through strife,
Self-respect rises, like a phoenix in life.
Choose wisely, dear heart, with discerning eye,
For self-respect's grandeur touches the divine.
May your self-respect be your guiding star,
Illuminating greatness, near and far.
