Amen and Halleluiah!

The young man,

a Jewish fellow,

is married to my niece-in-law,

who was raised Christian

but she converted to Judaism upon marriage.

They have two delightful little kids.

We (2 Christian ladies) ran into them at the coffee shop;

the kids were bouncing like popcorn,

filled with excitement because their teachers were at school (professional development day) but not them (students),

and their parents had taken the day off to take them to Legoland--!!!! Yippity-do-dah!!! they were jumping with excitement!!!

We grownups were chatting and chuckling about how my niece had "Jesus" as part of her maiden last name and she was now Jewish,

and then her husband reminded us Jesus was a nice Jewish boy,

and we smiled at that remembrance.

It was so cool, that thought, it felt to me like Jesus was right there with us, saying (in modern parlance) "yeah, dude, I'm just a humble Jewish guy, come to talk to you about love."

I thanked the dad for that reminder, and we continued smiling joyfully with the kiddos who were sooo happy to tell us all about their soon-to-start Legoland adventure!!! (exclamation points from kids' level of excitement).

Amen and halleluiah!
