The daylight fades very fast
And I am consumed by the night
Sleep takes me into the vortex
As I submit without a fight

Nature calls and groggily I oblige
My body fights for relief in vain
I stumble blindly back to my bed
For me there is no respite
Into the abyss I am sucked
As I plunge forever back into the night
