The mighty River Severn flows majestically down to Worcester               

carrying effluent from Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth

We add ours to it and send it on to Gloucester,

the centre of which is not as attractive as you might think

Cheltenham is better

Gloucester is wetter as a certain doctor found to his cost

when he visited the city once.

He never returned, though it's not clear

whether this was due to poor footpath maintenance

or the eeyawing from The Shed

Or was it because they talk funny and have six toes?

Who knows.
