Birth off Autumn V
An early Autumn breeze
Thickens under your cap
Past nine on the coast
Ripping across the square
Near your home
Pushing you slightly around
The edge of the beach
In between the twin hotels
Back up the lanes,
Collecting snapshots
Rattling on Marios
With silhouettes on the horizon
Mirroring the events beyond
Dreaming impossible words
Over barrels of leaves
Swirling around the water
Hiding in plain sight
Into thin grey blue speaks
Losing the summer
In its gaze again.
