"The Paradox Of Pursuits"
If you keep loving, with heart so true,
Someday things will work out, for me and you.
For love begets love, and kindness too,
And in its warmth, happiness shines through.
If you keep striving, with diligent hand,
Wealth and success will someday be your stand.
But riches alone, can't fill the space,
Left by love and joy, in a lonely place.
Yet, heed this paradox, with careful ear,
For in self-focused pursuits, sorrow draws near.
If you keep listening, solely to parental sway,
You may lose yourself, someday.
For in obedience, without self-expression,
Lies a hollow heart, and unfulfilled impression.
And though they guide, with love and intent,
Your path is yours, to choose and invent.
So find the balance, 'twixt love and self,
And heed your heart, amidst life's wealth.
For in harmony, with your soul's desire,
Lies true fulfillment, and love's sweet fire.
