It's telling that 'only' (?) 33% of Americans think they'll see civil war within 5yrs. And for me, it beggars belief that too many politicians - ours included - who occupy the so-called middle ground (i don't include fucknuts like Farage, who's both silly & dangerous) take pains to forge links & work with him. Many commentators back them up in saying it's realpolitik & that they have to, but all i see is that grainy image of Chamberlain waving his piece of paper. "Herr Hitler has assured me..." Well, Trump's not even assuring anyone. More fool Starmer if he thinks he can work with him.
