When peace is at home
The pallid and powdery touch
of Moonlight
carresses the cornfields.
A lone Barn Owl
takes up his nightly fence post position
intermittently hooting a declaration
of his spectralesque presence.
Finished with working late among the flowers
a Bee negotiates its well known way home
around the many unseen corners in the air
and the twilight is at one
with the bountiful grace of tranquility.
