The Pearl Within

I lay on my bed

worrying,

what good has this done me?

None.

I lay on my bed

relaxing,

what good has this done me?

It changes everything.

Letting go

creates power,

creates well-being,

makes us smile with ease.

There is nothing to fix

because nothing is broken.

What appears to be broken

is but an experience

with a pearl inside.

Find the pearl

and feel the richness of life,

find the pearl

and then let it go.

Grip released,

I lay on my bed,

relaxing.

You are right. We all have a pearl inside us. Finding it is the hard bit! Nicely written Helene.
