The Fall Is Not Gloomy At All

entry picture

Autumn is a sad time, — Pushkin used to say.

But I sing and dance catching the autumn ray.

I dance near the fire and burn all my sorrow,

Happiness, peace, and calmness I’ll borrow.

You know that every fallen leaf

Brings a little bit of grief.

But it frees the place in your heart

For happiness, beauty, and fine art.

When I carry the fog in my careful palms

I hear the church bells with wonderful alarms.

I’d like to say: that there is no need to fight

But to hug your loved and dears tight.

And I’d like to ask you about five,

Have you ever seen a real strive?

Have you ever seen the light

Some people bring instead of fight.

I’d rather gather all my loved and dears,

For a cup of tea under the music of the rain.

I will gather all my loved ones for a ball

I want to say that the fall is not gloomy at all.
